The CS Myth: Why ‘Just Coding’ Isn’t Enough Anymore” is a sharing session open to all students of Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), particularly students from the School of Computer Sciences, as well as students from other schools who are approaching graduation.

The main objective of this sharing session is to provide students with exposure to the realities of life after graduation, including the challenges of entering the workforce, financial management, career development, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. In addition, the session aims to build students’ confidence in preparing themselves before stepping into the real world, whether they choose to pursue employment, entrepreneurship, or further studies.

The primary target group for this project consists of final-year students at Universiti Sains Malaysia, particularly those from the School of Computer Sciences, as well as students from other schools who are planning their next steps after graduation. The secondary target group includes junior students who wish to gain an early understanding of the working world and prepare themselves in advance for their future.
